Soy milk, rice milk, almond milk, coconut milk... substitue "juice" for "milk" and it's still good.

cow juice, human juice, etc? etc?

I have a backpack, but I want something for when I'm walking around that is easy to swap out a lens or such.

The laptop would be an ultrabook or actually potentially just an ipad so that's light, and most of the time it would be a body, say like a 17-40 and a 70-200, or my 28 and a 85. But having the option to toss in another lens or so would be nice.

But it's not as classy looking and isn't really a ton cheaper. It's still $200.

Or you could buy a used one for $100:

I see them pop up used all the time. The v1 is only slightly different from the v2. Certainly not enough to justify an extra $100.

So can the cheaper Urban DIsguise 60, which fits a 17" laptop in a reinforced pouch.

expecting it when i get home :D settled for ver 1. i like ver 1 better. only thing i like about ver 2 is the ability to strap a tripod w/the addition purchase of straps. again, not really needed since i find it easier to hang the tripod on the end shoulder strap.

the unzip expendable on ver 2 is a nice gimmick but prob not needed for me.

Hmm...

I actually do like the layout of the Urban Disguise, I just wish that had it in more than the black ballistic nylon.

I prefer slinging the tripod over the shoulder in a separate case. Less chance of it knocking/bumping into things.

7 days 11 hours :D

I played some plain old Diablo this weekend, while rather drunk. I'd forgotten how quickly that game goes from loot fest to agonizingly difficult. Getting IPX working under Win7 was a pain, but it was a nice trip down memory lane. I THINK they copyright date on the title screen is 1996. :)

Honestly, aside from the 640x480 screen res, it still holds up pretty well. It was fun to watch it tell me that I didn't have 8 meg of RAM.

I should check and see if Blizzard has posted a download link yet for those of us with battle.net preorders. Origin did that with ME3 - allowed you to DL and install the whole game prior to the release. You just couldn't play it until the servers said it was OK.

It's not a beauty contest. Besides, your preferred bag actually looks expensive, and is something I'd WANT to steal. The urban disguise--just looks like a normal messenger bag. And isn't that what you WANT? You know, considering you're carrying several thousand dollars worth of equipment that you want to hide from prying eyes?

Yes, but it's a nice looking bag with the functionality I want. Most messenger bags are one or the others, although most camera messenger bags are neither.

I want a nice looking messenger bag that doesn't scream, "I'm holding lots of camera gear" that can take my gripped body with 2-3 lenses, a flash, and a laptop. The Ona can.

but once you pull out your camera, people will know its a camera bag :p

But this is a bag I plan on using a lot, how it looks does matter, to me at least. Yes it looks more expensive, but it doesn't say ThinkTank (which screams camera bag). I mean there is no perfect solution... I realize that. The discrete part really isn't going to make or break my decision, I just don't want to be walking around with a bag that is very obvious (like my backpack ).

iffy places will jack any bags

for me, how it looks to me is important. i wouldnt wanna go out with a pink bag. although a cheap girly pink bag would be less of an eye'er then a nice looking one. hmm...

The bag isn't emblazoned with "THINK TANK" in large letters. Besides, common thieves don't know what Think Tank is. They simply have an eye for what looks good, and what's expensive. Carry around a super-expensive looking bag, and you've just become a mark. Hey, whatever you want though. $100 for a used bag that gets you the same results, or $280 for "new hotness".

i thought about that, i'm sure i will do that sometimes since i have a small bag i can slip the tripod into and sling it over. but for now, doing what i do is fine. feels like im carrying a sword. so if someone comes up to me i can take it out quickly and whack the person with it ;)
