Unless it's for sports like indoor soccer or football, or the likes, but then the place should be sufficently lit. Even so, I wouldn't ever have a need for it then, so if that's true I will make it my goal to get one

Refurb price through Canon has dropped $80 for the mk2s. Purchased through the CLP with a body, you could get one for around $230.

$110? I told you I had some buyers that I had to turn down :p

If I didn't have 2x luma loops, I'd have keep the DR-1. Great strap, but it feels like body armor.

Yep, $109.73 to be exact :p
I loved the DR-1 as well but the two issues that SERIOUSLY bothered me was that when I walk, my bodies are dangling all over the place and when I kneel down to take a photo from the bottom, the lens/body touches the ground.
I needed something more protective. I spent a little over $200 for the Think Tank Digital Holster setup.

Yup. Try that with a 500 4.5L and a 100-400 on the other, and they'll bang into one another every few steps.

Unfortunately a solution like that wouldn't help for something like a 300mm 2.8

It's time for some food pics again! Another cooking party with the gf and her friends. The theme this time was Italian-ish. Everything was made from scratch, although I can't say it was very authentic, lol.

First, some "making-of" pics.

1. Making the wheat pasta dough

Hiya Alex. You gotta teach Steven how to make gnocchi. A while back he tried and failed.

Did you use a ricer for the potatoes?
