Ya, I noticed that. I was thinking to my self, "that dude is nucking futs!!".

I'll take some cheaper gear out on the water, but I've got a $300 waterproof bag holding everything :D I'd never have a DSLR out on a moving waverunner, especially with a massive wave coming for me. I guess it really boils down to how much you trust the operator of the vehicle. If they screw up, you're in the drink!!!!

heh, yeah was checking back. now he's a cowboy with them two things on the side.

quick draw time :P

Hehe... Saw a local professional wedding tog using those a year ago and thought it was a stupid setup. Thought it would be too bulky for me...
Funny, I ended up getting a set for myself. We’ll see how they work!
Like I said, BlackRapid strap was awesome on the stress-free shoulders but everything else was just a hassle. I had to be too careful with handling.

Crouching down with a should strap setup is a nightmare. I wouldn't want to go walking around with your setup though. Works for an event photographer--not a casual or wildlife shooter.

Hiya Alex. You gotta teach Steven how to make gnocchi. A while back he tried and failed.

Did you use a ricer for the potatoes?

Steven usually excels at failing at stuff.

I'm not sure since I didn't make the gnocchi. I remember seeing the potatoes getting peeled, and I was working on my sauce and taking pics, and next thing I know, the gnocchi were being rolled and cut!

Beef rolls and pesto pasta looks yumms. ;)

Desserts! Desserts for everybody!

We forgot to buy pine nuts for the pesto and used almonds instead, but the texture turned out a bit too rough. The flavor was excellent, though!

Nothing is as satisfying as home made desserts, especially the ice cream made from scratch! I ought to by myself an ice cream machine! Oh yeah, the ice cream was supposed to be burned sugar ice cream, but we didn't burn the sugar sufficiently, so it turned out more like vanilla flavor, which was still delicious, but just not what was intended, lol.

Well, yes, I need Farlet’s brain tested :p

This might prove to be a difficult task.

Meh. How about 85L? I mean we all know that Jak-E survived with only one medium telephoto :p ;)

I'd prefer that. More creative options. The 28-135 is the standard 7D kit lens. A bump ahead of the 18-55 IS. Take that for what it's worth.

OH!! You're right. Thanks for reminding me. I've finished AC 1, 2, brotherhood, and I'm ready to play Revelations. I absolutely love the AC series.

And I'm not certain I'll be playing Diablo III. I didn't finish D2, and it looks like they're having a lot of troubles with it. The game will be a huge time-drain, so I'll probably pass on it.

lol how could you forget when its your fav? :P

i'm debating, only reason why i'm reconsidering is because a lot of ppl are playing it i thought it'd be fun to play with em. other then that.. not really interested, graphics not that great and gameplays just the same. same here, didnt play d2. i was excited about it but when i saw a friend play it, it was rather boring. i played it a bit today at a friends house and eh, nothing great. over hyped.

I forgot because I haven't been in a gaming mindset for a while. Beat brotherhood like a year ago.

Diablo III is fun for the hoarders. If you don't like collecting equipment, it's not for you.

I think the real problem with the game is that it's essentially designed to be played all the way through by one person. You can do online multi-player as before, but people expect World of Warcraft-type gaming these days. Not going for the MMO approach killed a good deal of the replay value.
