Seems to lack some detail in the eyes....or that just how it's eyes are. I can't tell.

Not I.
Grrrr.... I hate Adorama's search! I cannot find the 17-40L anywhere on their site, but if I Google "canon 17-40 adorama" it comes up perfectly!

Yeah I usually reference B&H first, and use adorama only if I know I specifically want to purchase from them.

Noooo! I shot my photoshoot all in JPEG today! I don't even know how the hell I could've done that :mad::mad: Luckily it wasn't paid or anything, just a friend who's an aspiring model, but it's insanely annoying.

It shouldn't be that big of a deal if your settings were dialed in. ;)

Jake did you see my post to you on DOF. FYI.

If you aren't happy with the results... then schedule a reshoot. You certainly don't want sub par pics floating out there with your name out there on a model's (aspiring or not) portfolio. ;)

I know :o!

I always shoot raw so I never worry about my settings and for the city I always leave it on AV and just adjust the picture later in post... I got onto the train after looked at the first picture and almost cried cause I'm like NO! I just shot in JPEG  Will definitely be making sure I always check to make sure I'm in raw from now on. Luckily it isn't the end of the world and it was just a mini-shoot with my friend.

Nope! I haven't really been checking POTN this weekend that much cause I've been busy. But yeah I know that site, I was just trying to explain in my post that you can still get everyone in focus even if you are shooting at f/2. Chances are if they are shooting a group picture of 5+ people they're going to need to back up significantly so they won't really need to worry about how many people are in focus. If not though it's always better to have everyone in a straight line otherwise, yeah, you'll need to stop down a bit.

You can't pop out the batteries on those. :(

Dry it as much as you can and stick it in a bag full of (uncooked) rice or dessicant gels for a day or two or three. Do you have insurance on it? :(
