I haven't really been checking POTN this weekend that much cause I've been busy. But yeah I know that site, I was just trying to explain in my post that you can still get everyone in focus even if you are shooting at f/2. Chances are if they are shooting a group picture of 5+ people they're going to need to back up significantly so they won't really need to worry about how many people are in focus. If not though it's always better to have everyone in a straight line otherwise, yeah, you'll need to stop down a bit.
