If I ever end up on the show I'll tell you all to tune in :p

I'll let you borrow some of my stuff so it looks even more impressive.

Any excuse to get my SegaCD and a copy of Sewer Shark on TV...

Well I want to get some practice in before they get here. My niece being in town is half the reason I bought the flash when I did.

And yeah I need to figure out how to set it up as a OCF with the 7D.

Chimping helps. Sometimes you can't tell if your bounce is off or it's too hot until you're in that specific lighting condition. Practice lots of people shots just to get a feel on which angle to rotate the flash for the best bounce. ;)

Time to break out the 7d manual... or just d/l the pdf.

I had never heard the term chimping.

I'm definitely a chimper. I was doing some experimenting last night with stuff around the room. It is amazing how much a slight change in bounce angle can change the look of the shot. Or heck even the affect just pulling up the small bounce card on the 580 has.

It is easy, a smart guy like you will figure it out in no time.

In my opinion bounce = best thing EVER to happen to my photography at least indoors of my cats...

Really? CHIMPing... CHeck IMage Preview.

Sometimes I have the flash facing straight up and that's good most of the time. There are times when I do that the pics shows a hotspot on the subject forehead, so I adjust and bounce behind me a bit. That works most of the time. I rely on ETTL a lot too.

Retina display...droool!

There is a rumor the next MacBook might have a 2880x1400 display.

I'd love a 13" MBA with that screen. :D

I hate when schools and such do that... The trip will be fine for like 10 years, then one class goes crazy and it gets ruined for everyone else...

Not every class is going to get in trouble.

Here's the stupid part, every other class has a retreat and the 9th grade goes to the SAME place the 11th went to, and they think only the 11th grade will ruin it for everyone?

Wow... is it REALLY worth going to jail, probably losing your license, and probably getting sued by him just to get back at an ex... kinda pathetic.
