Does anyone have any experience with CRIS repair center in Chandler Arizona? Sigma gave me the option to send my lens here for auto focus repair and I did. I am wondering if anyone has any experience with turnaround times. The lady told me today it could be up to 6 weeks. I know it really is dependent on what is wrong with the lens, but I was just wondering if anyone has any first had experience with these guys. Thanks!

That sounds about right for CRIS based on what I've heard from a couple of my local aviation buddies who use Sigma glass.

I have sent my stuff there for calibration and cleaning before. Both times took only took one week from when my lens left my hands to being back in my hands.

I live in California if that matters.

Cool, thanks. That sound more like it. I am also in CA which is the reason why I opted to send it to AZ instead of NY.

I sent my lens to CRIS through Samy's. I just got a call today telling me that CRIS did not have the parts and they were going to send my lens to the Sigma repair center in NY for repair. Why can't they just send the part(s) to CRIS? I'm worried - I've heard bad things about the NY repair center. :(

I know a lot of people trust these guys.....I contacted them to clean up my 60D and they said for sensor cleaning they send it out to canon. I thought, are you guys just like FedEx for cameras or something? I work right next to them in Chandler and didn't realize they were such a big deal

I sent my Sigma 24-60 F2.8 back to Sigma HQ in Ronkonkoma and they couldn't fix it. I get it's older and maybe parts are gone but they said on the invoice it's a discontinued product. Not sure if that meant because it's no longer made they won't service it or if they don't have the parts for it.

If I send it to CRIS in Arizona will they say the same thing? I won't be out anything save the shipping costs and if that's the only thing then I have not much to lose. What do you all think?
