Lenses with the MOST lens flare?

Thanks for all the responses. Looks like generally wide angle works best. I don't have any of the lenses listed so far but I'll give it a shot with what I have.

Rob, that's the look I'm going for--warm with a bit of reduced contrast but not so much that it looks completely washed out. Nice looking flare rings too. Don't think I'll be picking up the Sigma just for the flare (not too interested in 50mm) but will keep it in mind.

Nothing, I mean nothing compares to my Nikon 14-24.


6D, G9, Sigma 50 1.4, Sigma 15mm Fisheye, Sigma 50 2.8 macro, Nikon 14-24G 2.8, Canon 16-35 2.8 II, Canon 24-105 f/4 IS, Canon 70-200 2.8 IS, tripod, lights, other stuff.

Friend sold his because he could never take a shot without flare..

I love the Meyer Goerlitz Trioplan 100mm f/2.8 and the older versions of the Helios 44 58mm f/2.0 for that.

my sigma 24-70 2.8 and helios 44 58mm f/2 are prone to flaring but not in a bad way (most of the time)

Take a look into some Russian 1950's and 1960's lenses. Back then, the inside of some lenses didn't have a black coating and were just shiny metal. Those things had HUGE flare in any situation pretty much.
