EDIT: It's official. Sent it in to Canon Rumors and what do ya know...

===============
Just pulled the trigger on the 5D MK III body and combined it with the 85 1.2. Total came out to $5248, shipped, which is odd because... when I tried that combo on B&H, the total was $5398. $150 difference, which is the amount of the rebate for that particular lens.
After looking at how Adorama broke down the costs, I realized that they actually doubled the rebate and deducted that amount from the already discounted listed price for the lens.
85 1.2 Regular price: $2199
Instant rebate: -$150
listed price: $2049
Body combo instant rebate: -$150
Expected total: $1899
Actual total: $1749($150 less)
Ultimately, they're tripling the lens rebate amount if you purchase with a body. I tried this combination out with most other lenses and the results were the same - it will work with Speedlites, too. To make this deal even sweeter, mr. rebates offers 3% cashback for Adorama purchases, so I saved another $157.44.
Grand total: $5090.56. I basically picked up the 85 1.2 for $1590.56 brand new!
I'm glad that I held out on picking up the MK III.
Just thought I'd share.
How it works:
Empty your cart... search for the 5D Mark III body(or any qualifying body).
Before adding it to your cart, click on the "Buy together and save" link that's located to the right of the picture of the DSLR body.
In that list that generates, choose one of the items, then scroll up and click the "add to cart" button. When you calculate the total, you'll see what I mean.
Good luck.
