Sorry I have asked this in another section but was advised to post here. I used a that flash with my 50d but have read its a"not suitable" for use with a 7d. Does anyone know why, will it damage the camera or do I just lose some functionality such as Ttl? Thanks

If you used it with a 50D it is safe to use with a 7D. Maybe they just did not test it with a 7D so they do not claim it to be compatible. Maybe they are just referring to the fact that a 7D can be a master flash and the YN flash will not support that operation. If you have the equipment, test and report back.

Thanks dedsen. I was unsure about putting it on. I did and all works fine, even TTL. Thanks again
