After 2 days of being trapped at home with a goofed up foot I decided it was good enough to go for a sunset drive. I decided to stop by Buffalo Point (Buffalo Bay) since it was only an hours drive. When I arrived I was completely uninspired. The sun was going to disappear behind a large cloud and the water wasn't working for me. So I decided to turn around and give up. As I drove back I passed by the docks and stopped for obvious reasons. Feeling a bit more inspired I decided to explore a little. I was rewarded with a great spot to shoot. I will be returning to this new find!

PS, I have also set up a temp site while I continue to procrastinating building a new one. Feel free to check it out:

All are (as usual) very good but the last two are simply magical Scott!

Sorry you're hobbled. Hope it's nothing serious.

I'm starting to think that regardless of the conditions, you'll find a way to turn it into a beautiful photograph.

Scott, you've absolutely mastered the "stuff-sticking-out-of-water" genre! Really love that first shot. And the story behind the shots is well-appreciated also; a great lesson in not giving up. Get well soon! :D

Scott, you have, once again, captured the magic! All I can say is that this is pure inspiration for any photographer!
