I went out yesterday (very gusty day) to test my new TC and to look for migrating birds, especially Warblers. I didn't find any Warblers but I did find several Baltimore and Orchard Orioles. Plus a nice variety of birds.
These are not the greatest shots but thought I would share since it's been a while. Thanks for looking.

Female Orchard Oriole

Male Red-bellied Woodpecker bringing home some supper.

Scissor-tailed Flycatcher

Mockingbird

Nice variety you found on your outing Brad.
I've only ever seen the Orchard Oriole once before so that's a great capture to me. Love the posture of the Mockingbird too; they're so cool. Mr RBW sure found something fat for dinner. The standout in this group though is the Scissor-tailed. Excellent capture there, and I noticed it sure takes a lot of frame to fit it all in - :)
Nicely done!

Great shots Brad, I particularly like the scissor tailed flycatcher and would love to see one in person someday...beautiful bird.

I echo Sharon's comments Brad... I haven't seen a single warbler yet.

Thanks Steve, It was quite eventful in terms of number of species but not the birds I were looking for. The RBWOs were really on to something. They were bringing in big food items. I wish the Scissor-tail would of turned around. It was very difficult to get the shot and to frame as the wind was gusting.

Thanks Sharon, I always look forward to the Scissor-tails return. It's a sign of spring. I hope you get to see one sometime.

Thanks Dave, I'm a bit disappointed with the Warblers so far. Either they haven't arrived or I just missed them. At this time for the last couples years there were multiple Warblers, Orioles, and Vireos in the area.
