U16 EPIC soccer round robin

My son plays on the U16 EPIC Hotspur - a newly founded team this year. They played a round robin this past Saturday between three teams that were trying to qualify for a State tournament later on this summer. The top two teams would qualify. Unfortunately they didn't make the cut, but for a first year team that has never played together before, I thought they played very well. It was cold and rainy with temperatures hovering at the 40 degree mark, which not only made it tough for the players but also tough on a middle-aged dad trying to hold his camera steady while shivering. lol. Here are some shots from both games. By the way, there are two U16 EPIC teams here in the Eastern Panhandle that played against each other in the second game.

Good shots! Everything looks good as far as timing and exposure. However, try getting lower when shooting. Shots like 1, 2, 4, 5 & 7 would look much better from a lower perspective.

Thanks! Your lacrosse shots are getting a lot better! I'd love to try shooting lacrosse, but I don't think it's a sport played here in the eastern panhandle.

Thank you. I'll be sure and try your suggestion this weekend. They play again on Sunday.

For sure! I think these boys try and find the loudest cleats they can. Helps draw attention to them. Also makes it easier to point them out when in a crowd.

I like #6 the best. I feel bad for the boys. Nothing worse than a futbol pitch painted with silly football lines.
