Discovered this ebay catalog description...may be old news but was new to me...and new to ebay I guess....this was a listing of the Rebel X (correctly) in the film category but not described as such by the seller....and I noticed only then ebay's description....

Lol, eBay's auto-description feature doesn't know what to believe.

There is the Rebel XS most know, the 1000D, and there WAS a Rebel XS film camera. The eBay info was obviously written by someone that had details on both but not the knowledge needed to tell that they are two separate cameras.
