I'm happy to be able to bring you these images of the Northern Cardinal captured in the mere seconds of perching between their frenetic chases around my neighborhood the last month or so.

Great series Steve, love the expressions on those Cardinals. My favourite is the pretty girl in #3 although they are all really good.

Always appreciated Mark. I think that girl was quite showy and ended up in 3 of 4 images here - :)

Steve, she is lovely and he is as handsome as they come. Your IQ and detail within are very good. My favorites, funny enough are the third photo of the female and the male. They are composed so well.

The poses and looks you captured are beautiful Steve... the detail and clarity is exceptional... I think over the years I have grown to appreciate the interesting tones and hues of the female, more than the male... a bird I rarely have seen around here.
