I sat for 6 hours at the local marsh and all I have to show for it is a Common Grackle ( I think it's a grackle ? ) and a Hermit Thrush.

That sure is a long while in a marsh with skeeters around. The Grackle is very nice, excellent light, the little Hermit is a hard catch, Well done!

Nice shot on the grackle. Like how you caught the iridescence of the head.

A bad day taking pics is still better than a good day without the camera.
Both your pics are nice.

I had so many days that I wasn't even able to press the shutter speed, so your 6 hours is much more productive :) Both of your shots are great, and you had the grackle in an excellent perch :)

... does it really matter?i see with my eyes, i shoot with my fingers.
