Photographed near Winchester, Ontario about 40 minutes from downtown Ottawa. Approximately 2-3000 of these gesse have paused there for the past few weeks during their migration. Snow geese traditionally migrate slightly farther east through Quebec but over the past 5 years the western band of the migration route appears to have expanded into eastern Ontario.
