Fairies

This is a Ladybug dat feeds on mildew.
They are active throughout the year.
I catched some today and took them into the "ministudio"

I used a flash with a softbox.
The ceiling and the side bounces off the light making the light very soft.
i used a printed photo for the background (the background in the pictures are no photoshop), i used several diverent pictures.
I am still experimenting for the perfect natural lightsetup, but this made me happy.

Very creative in terms of a mini studio, like the brown leaf effect on the bottom. Your shots are very sharp as well. Excellent captures on the Lady bug. would like to see more of your work.

Nothing to laugh about here, Very well done lighting and set up. My favorites are 2, 6, and 8. I love the light colors of your subject against the darker settings. Your pictures make me smile a well.

EXCELLENT Shot! Your efforts were rewarded. Not very often one gets a shot of a Lady Bug with its wings unsheathed and spread.

Beautiful series of shots. Takes a lot of patience to get those open wing pics. Love the "bug studio"- great idea. Think these are the best ladybug pics I've seen. Congrats.
