Please. I'd still choose the $3000 D800 over a $3500 Mark III that's taped up.
I looked at your gear list and your a Nikon shooter so I'm curious as of to why you are on a Canon website? Do you really have nother better to do?

The fix is no more than what you do to put sound deadener in a vehicle to stop noise. It is black material that is non-conductive that sits in with the electronics.
