Hi All,
I have LR3 and am using the dng converter which is working fine for me at the moment. One thing I have noticed which is bugging me is the profiles disappear when using the 5Diii images. Previous body is a 40D. If I go back to 40D files the profiles re-appear.
Can someone explain why this is happening and if there's anything I can do to have the profiles available for the 5Diii. This is in the develop module.

Obviously this has something to do with the new files, but I can't find what the problem is nor how to fix it.

Thanks for any tips.

It's because Adobe has not generated any other profiles for the 5D3 yet. Adobe bundles profiles with ACR and the DNG converter. You get them whenever you install one or the other. Just have patience, additional profiles for the 5D3 will show up in future updates of ACR and DNG. May take a month or two.

The Adobe release of LR4 and CS6 came at the same time as the 5D3, so Adobe was kind of rushed to get minimal support of the 5D3 included.

Thanks for the reply. I am using the dng converter and thought all would be OK now that I have that installed. I guess these are ones still on waiting list.
Patience shall be my friend a little longer.
