Super moon over Tasman Bay

Nelson is surrounded by hills so this afternoon we took dogs and cameras over to Kaiteriteri on the other side of Tasman Bay to watch the moon rise.

Still too much hill in the way to catch the real size of the moon as it rose, but it was pretty spectacular all the same.

Number 2 is excellent, it's a huge moon and the shot is made better with the ships in the foreground.

Thank you. Yes it was worth the drive...the sequence of the moon first appearing was quite cool as well.
