While I appreciate this might be best posted on the ML specific forum it is likely to get lost in the great sea of those techies where as I just want to use it.

Any road up - when you swap cards any settings changes made on card A stay with card A. Card B has the settings you last used on Card B.

Granted I could go through the whole list and change on Card B but this becomes a little tedious by card F and G.

Inevitably we all fiddle, try something new and either like it or discard it. It is so frustrating when you find a new setting that really works and you change cards and it has gone.

So, is there a way to carry settings across without having to install all the settings on each card individually?

I use a card reader to download my image files. I did the copy/paste thing for all my cards. I am thinking of buying a 64g card just to have one card, one set of settings, etc. just for the same continuity reason you speak of.

If you see me with a wrench - call 911. 5d3, T3i, 17-55 2.8, 50 1.8, 70-200 2.8 L II, 24-105 f4. YN 565, Precision Lupe attached to hacked extended eyecup (no sticky frame) - old enough to have owned an original F-1
