Beautiful.

I really like the quality of photos.

I especially like the fish-eye.

I replaced the 24-70L and 35L with the 8-15L and 45 TS-E. I'm using those 2 lenses much more than I ever used the ones that I sold.

But yeah, I'm trying to keep usage under control. The 8-15L and 45 TS-E has distinct looks to their images and personally, it gets a little tiring after a while.

Nice Nice!! I see some awesome 8-15L shots, like I asked for some ;)
I picked up a 16-35L II and cannot wait to use it for my next wedding!

I know you sold your 24-70L, did your 16-35L II replace it? I have a feeling it will replace my 24-70L... Thinking of purchasing some other lens.

Had a smile on my face when you said C&C welcome...how the hell do you criticise these shots??? They're beautiful!! :) Had my first wedding shoot on the weekend, looks like I have along way to go if I wanna come close to producing images as high in quality as yours...

Awesome as always! Love the "working" tilt on the dress, just how I would prefer the focus to be. In the last shot the bride is a bit squished but I guess that's just a lens-choice-result.

On a side-note, how do you like the 8-15 after some real world usage? I've been thinking about it but it's not high on the "need" list at the moment.

Thanks. I like the flower shot with the bride as well. I was trying to position myself on a not so stable chair so that I could get that shot and not chop off the tip of her fingers. Mission accomplished!

Thanks. Trust me. They are not always "amazing". Far from it.:o

I've always had the 16-35L II. The 24-70L was NEVER used and I had that range covered with my primes so I figured why not replace it with a lens that I'll definitely use, even if it's just for a handful of shots. That would still be more than the zero shots I used the 24-70L for! You know, when I bought the 8-15L and 45 TS-E, I thought the 45 TS-E was going to be the lens I'll like more, but ironically it was the 8-15L. The 45 has a little bit of a learning curve and I wasn't thrilled with the results I was getting but I think I finally started to get a feel for it at this wedding and I am really liking it as well.

I appreciate the compliments however there's always something to C&C on. I think people are sometimes too afraid to offend other people's work. I am not one of those people. So since I dish it out, I want that "favor" returned! It's a GREAT way to get better.

Yeah, as I mentioned before, I try not to got Tilt crazy. Not that there's a problem with going all out, but that's just not my style. Plus, I am slowly working that lens into the mix. It's one of those things where there's a time and place for everything. I happen to think that the dress shot would look more interesting with the tilt effect.

As for the 8-15, yeah, I'm liking it. The key for me is to not go too crazy with it and just mix it up. It's a little bit of a pain to use because the way the hood and cap work, but the IQ is great, the AF much faster than the 15 f2.8, and of course it's an L! ;)

Wow Nick. These are fantastic. The dress shot and number 3 are killer. Love them all, though.

great set nick! love the tilt shift on the dress.

-not sure if you had the 50mm f1.4 before the 1.2L, but was curious on the sharpness all across the board -vs- the two?
are you shooting the 70-200 f2.8 II?

also...WHY ARE YOU 2ND SHOOTING?!

I had the 50 1.4 years ago so honestly I can't really comment on it anymore. The 50L is certainly not the sharpest lens out there, but the bokeh is nice and when it hits at f1.2, it's really great. The 70-200 f2.8 II is the sharpest lens I own. No comparison with the 50L, but it can't do f1.2! :)

As to your last question, you like asking that eh? I think I answered that in my other thread in here!
