Amazon carries a cheap 3rd party RC-6 remote for about $7. There is also the Canon remote for about $25. Is it best to just get the Canon remote, or should I save money and get the Photive remote?

Anyone have any experience with the 3rd party remote? If so is the range on the remote OK?

Personally, I would say the cheap remotes are just as good. I have the wired remote from the same company and i LOVE it. Works perfectly. Will let you know how this remote does in a couple days once I get it.
