Sorting through and over stuffed back catalogue of images now has me at the 2010 BTCC media Day at Brands. This day sticks out in my mind due to the brief I got – and hence the title of this post - for anything but "normal".

The Editor wanted – avant-garde, off the wall, angled shots and if I did want to include a front three quarter shot it had to look different. I wasn't going to argue with the client, no matter my own views.

Here is a sample of what I submitted. The Editor was happy which is what matters the most. Do they stand the test of time or are they just a bunch of angled shots that make your eyes hurt ?

1. Gordon's Door

I like 2, 5, 6 & 7. Dont like the angles too much but good shots. BTW the integra (No 3) is Lee Woods car.
