Thanks for watching alread! Last week I shot my first Wedding. I was not the main photographer so not all of the pictures in here will be used for the final wedding book.

I loved shooting this wedding and I want to do this more and more and more. To get new customers you need perfect pictures. So please give me advice! I want to deliver perfect shots!

I can use advice on everything! Please tell me!
Do you like the toning? The PP?

All taken with a 24-70 on F2.8 or with a 50mm. on 1.4.

I deleted all the pictures!

Thanks for all advice!

here's my 2 cents, take it or leave it, just trying to help!! best advice, keep shooting, keep asking, and keep learning. look at other wedding photographers shots and find out WHY you like them.

the PP isn't my style, but feel like all of them could use a sharpening and contrast boost.

1. i'd have him hold the flowers with her in the center, or have her drop the flowers and have her hand on her hip. hand on hip = slimming effect.

2. was this a first look? i'd ditch the car and just have him stand there as she's coming, turned around, then turn him around as she gets closer.

3. don't understand the shot

4. dig it.

5. i like the idea, but what are they looking at? the higlights seem blown, and i'd probably have a better bottle of wine than a $5 bottle of yellow tail. maybe having them feed each other bread, or kissing.

6. cool grab, but not really appealing of the b&g ( your client ).

7 and 8 are probably good to have in the album, but i wouldn't say they are share worthy. hell ihave a hard time finding 'share worthy' pictures after a 2000 shot wedding lol

ps ; try to stick with native crops, 7 and 8 look to have some different crops going on. while that's fun for the internet it makes it difficult if they try to print them out. just fyi.

Thanks for the advice!

I know about the strange crops, but I don't use this pictures for anything so this is more like a learning curve for me. It was not my task to direct them.
And It's a friend of mine so I didn't get payed ;)

I am not convinced by the PP too. I just can't seem to find the perfect PP. Sharpness is already done, Contrast is at +15 on almost all pictures.

Could some of you give me some tips for the PP part? I use LR4.

I really do not like the washed out looking editing style. Other than that it seems you did a good job, though your whites are a bit too hot and the detail in the dress is lost.

I do not like the PP as well. But I think the pictures itself are okay.
There was no second lighting source used by me. The main photographer did.

This doesn't make sense.

If you don't like the PP, then why did you PP them that way?

Not a fan of the processing at all. Too yellow and blown out. Just my opinion.

#1 I like the pose.. Not a fan of them standing in the railroad tracks
#2 I like this one
#3 Not a fan. Looks like someone is going to drive the car in front of a train.
#4 It is ok. I would like to see more of the grooms face
#5 Odd concept. Was it a tradition or something?
#6 Great capture
#7 It is an ok image. Records part of the wedding
#8 Kids are always cute but this one does not work for me

@Numenorean,

I am sorry, this is not exactly how I mean it.

I am not convinced by my PP.
I did like the PP for some moment. But then I think, this is not it.
So I tried some other things, but it doesn't work right now. I am a little bit stuck.

So I did post those images to get some tips. That's why I asked about the PP.

@ Scorpio,

No it was not my task to pose them, the main photographer did take pictures of them from a totaly other angle. So I did not had the freedom to shoot and direct them like I wanted.
