No1 is a single strobe setup, 2-3 exposures IIRC.

2 is a single exposure but has a Floodlight above the car. As the light quickly faded we rolled the car away from the floodlight and tried the side shot again. I appreciate its the same shot and wasn't going to post it here, but hey, some might like it better :)

3 & 4 are Lightpained so plenty more expoures in those :)

C&C Very welcome

Love this car, even if it DID try to kill me

Not keen on the red lines on the floor, but the first pic is great!

Ha, whats the story there?

The red lines are light spilling through grills from the building behind me. I couldnt turn them off or mask them so figured I'd try and work with them.

He keeps beer in that chute pak, right? Nice looking rod, & the images aren't bad either. But I'd rather see some nice reflections in it, & one shot where it looked as good as this grab shot from a car show would have been nice: Merc (external link)

It snapped a half shaft at Leeds Cruise and lost a wheel & hub assembly, with the other wheel still having momentum, it (the car, not the wheel) missed me by about half a foot as it came up onto the pavement!

Ah right, I assumed you'd added the lines :) as you say, probably best to make a feature of them than to try and avoid them and compromise the composition

 Bl****y hell! Lucky escape for you then! But what a story :D

Fair point photosguy, that wouldn't have been possible at this location but I'll bear it in mind

Beautiful shots, especially the last few that are backlit.

That is one, properly shot hot rod...very nicely done there! I certainly isn't going to be for everyone, but I like the effect in number 2.

Nice play with lines.
Mine are 3 and 4.
3rd could be a bit beaten up to be more straight for the theme.

I really like #3. It has an evil look to it.

Nicely done! I was viewing it as street rod until I saw the drogue chute.
