This wasn't the best of pics but I saw another spider thread going earlier and just couldn't resist posting it. How often do you get to see a sight like this much less have a camera on hand at the time? This was a tough shot to take with the little A40 in one hand and a mag light in the other (nightime and pitch black out). :)

Cool shot. Are those baby spiders on her back? Wow, sure are a bunch of them! You might want to post this in the Macro group. We're into this sort of thing (see my sig). :)

Thanks. Those are baby spiders and there had to be 1,000 of them. When i first saw it I didn't realize what they were and just though "what in the hell is wrong with that spider".

I will post a link to the thread in the macro group. Thanks for the advice.

Nice! If you scare the spider the babies will all of the sudden jump off, run away, and come back again. It is a hilarious sight.
