No, I want to Upgrade. But why upgrade to the 5D3 if its not going to give me anything extra with its FF. Yeah its got loads of features but the biggy should be FF for me.

Yeah, why upgrade to the 5D Mk III when there is a more intelligent Full Frame solution for you!

Because of what you shoot ( only shoot Interiors with any seriousness ) why not be smart about the upgrade.

I mean really think it through.

Probably for LESS THAN cost of a 5D MkIII body alone .....

Buy a brand new 5D MkII and a brand new UWA lens to go with it.

Ok, like the Sigma 12-24 which looks quite good on paper. Hmm, with all the raving over the EFs 10-22mm im sort of re-thinking its merits on Crop frame hahah.

For what you are planning to use your camera for, I would think a 60D with your 10-22 should work fine. However, if you really want FF, the 5D2 with a wide angle tilt shift lens would be all you need.

The 10-22 on your 350D provides a 107 degree diagonal angle of view (AOV) at 10mm, 63.1 at 22mm (larger number = wider view).

On a Full Frame the Sigma 12-24 provides 122 degrees at 12mm and 84.1 at 24mm.

Crop offers no lens to match this. If you want to shoot as wide as possible without using a fisheye then FF with the Sigma is the only way to go..... Or is it?

There is one other option.. The 17-TSE. If you use its built-in shifting capabilities you can make a 10.2mm equivalent 129.5 degree diagonal AOV shot relatively easily without having to pan the camera. Still have to stitch the shot though. The final image will also be much larger in size (40mp?) and contain more detail than you would get any other way.

Read up on how to do this here:

You want to move the camera when you do it, not the lens, so you will want some macro rails with guide marks (that you create) to really do this kind of shooting at its best.
