Hi there everyone.

Just wondering, does anyone know if I can fit a 5D + grip on Think Tank Retrospective 5 with lens attached? With maybe a extra lens?

Thanks in advance, cheers.

David.

The R5 doesn't really fit gripped bodies. An ungripped body + 1-2 lenses depending on the lens.

The Retro 20 and maybe the 10 will hold a gripped body. That's what I use.

There's a Retro7 too. Would it hold a gripped body?

I can fit my 5DmkII Gripped in my Retrospective 5, and I use it like that all the time...........but only with a prime lens attached and with no room for anything else!! I use this bag and that combo just for personell use and when I am out and about. I can vouch my 5DmkII Gripped + 50mm 1.2L or 28mm 1.8 or 85mm 1.8 fit perfectly, none of my zooms fit.

Do you fit it in horizontally? ie without the dividers?

Ahh Yes, forgot to mention that.........to fit it, I have to remove all the dividers, but since I am not not putting another lens in the bag, I do not even need the dividers.

Thanks, nice to know that.

What about the Lowepro Classified 140 AW? Anyone has one?

Cheers.

The 160 AW carries an iPad handily. I can carry my d300s with grip and 18-200VR so easily. Throw in a 70-300VR too. With room left over. Downside? don't like the strap
