Yellow-rumped Warbler (Myrtle)

This is the very first time I can see this species, in my backyard or elsewhere - even though my iBird Pro application, on my Toshiba Thrive tablet, says it's one of the most common Warblers in North America.
The pic is not great but it's all I could manage to shoot before he took off, and given it's a first I'm still happy with it "as is".
(According to iBird Pro, the Myrtle variety has a white throat while the Audubon variety has a yellow throat).

Nice. We only see them in the winter down on the gulf coast. The colors are different during that time.

Yes, I noted posts a few weeks back saying that the warblers were reappearing in the northern states.

Congratulations on an exciting first Gerard. Sometimes the worst shot is all one can make of these little ones and you certainly did not get the worst!
