Had a prom shoot a couple of weeks ago. The girl wanted to use these props. I decided to try a hdr for this.

Very creative. Good thing your not in Cali. Full suspension from school, college priviledges revoked, contributing to the delinquency of a minor charges, a Child Services visit, a DOJ visit, and 3 days in the rack in the town square.

Glad to see some people still have a sense of humor in America.

No, it's HDR. Not an extreme HDR, but it is one.

Thanks everyone for the comments.

I would say its a pretty extreme HDR, it looks like some massive tone mapping which gives is that fake, cartoonish look. not my cup of tea, but if they loved it... then that is all that matters.

Would fit under my definition of an 'extreme' HDR. Not a fan, but I am not the one whose opinion matters. Glad the clients enjoyed it - thinking out of the box is a great tool to have. Something I need to learn. Well done!

That's what I was thinking, and the arms too. I almost thought it was a guy in a dress for a minute. Other than that, I'm not a fan of the halos around the tree tops. Make it look bad in my opinion. You could probably crop it down some so it's not so noticeable though. Overall I like it though.
