A Temple In A Cave

Hello all,

Just looking for some feedback on this shot. Personally, I think the entering sunlight is too bright but if I darken it out it takes away from the wow factor. Anything I could do in PP to enhance this image or indeed anything I could have done better when taking it?

unfortunately shooting with really wide lens distorts corners the most. light room and i think photoshop can fix that with their lens calibration option. but yes the light is too bright HDR could be really cool too

I think I would have shot it a little wider so I had room to straighten it. And I would have shot several exposures so I had more room for blending exposures in PS.
Is it really that out of focus?

Lots of challenges in this one: broad dynamic range and not enough room to get it all in without going wide and suffering the distortion. If it were me and I had the time, I think I'd use a normal focal length and take segments to stitch together later, making sure to get the structure out of the corner. The broad dynamic range demands an HDR approach. 3 HDR exposures and stitching: that's a lot of work. Is it worth it? Only you and the final product can judge.

I also think this situation would have best been tackled using HDR.
