Ok, so I was looking on ebay for a battery grip for my rebel and found THIS (external link)instead. I was interesting in seeing if anyone here has one of these non-Cannon brand grips and how well they work. I am not worried about voiding the warenty as it is long expired, however I AM worried about damaging the camera. Anyone use of these or hear about them?

I didn't know that anyone else made grips! Given the problems that even Canon has making grips that work i'd probably stick with Canon myself. See if anyone's used one though. It looks identical to a Canon one.

Thank you, that was my general view, but some of the noncanon branded stuff has turned out fairly good- and I started pricing the 'real' ones, it is not enough difference to risk it. Thanks again.
