Looks like Yoda! :)

stanclark makes good points. Harsh sunlight isn't the best for shots like this. Better when it's overcast giving a more diffused light or find some shade.

I'm surprised you got him/her to sit in one spot. We had 2 of them and they were hyper little rats... re... dogs. :)

The exposure is a bit high. I agree the fur could be detailed better. As for the DOF, I agree with stanclark and I don't agree. I say either make sure the whole dog is sharp or make sure his face is sharp vrom the tip of the nose to the ears. Cute pooch though.

Ha ha thanks. That was yesterday on my deck, she decided to lay down to take some sun on that corner and I took her a photo. It was really improvised :)

And to get these dogs to do what you really want them to is almost next to impossible. I think with a little PP this one could be great as well. Cute pose with the front paws.

plus:

do not use in logo wordly overused font you downloaded from dafont.com + it's obvious, that that font have not vertical slash and therefore there sits just a stick from Myriad font [can be wrong here].

Sorry, if I sounded a bit too harsh - did not intend that :] I think you don't need a logo at this point - nice little watermark with name / web address will do just fine. But, I have to say, I am not a fan of "logo watermarks" per se - I think it's just cheap marketing, that does not work anyways but messes up perception of image in question quite often. I've seen only couple logos, that actually were good presented as watermarks in my life.
