My 70-200 f2.8 is on the 1Ds2 an awful lot, I still use the 85 f1.8 a lot as well though... f2.8 is great for field sports, even under decent floodlights, but it's still not quick enough for poor indoor lighting. An f4 70-200 would be of no use to me so I've always had an f2.8 70-200 (The Sigma is decent at a cheaper price). Personally I've never had any issues with clients, it gets used a lot at weddings and events I shoot.

Wow! Guess I'm gonna have to take a class on Canon Pro Body Repair and stock up on parts so I'll be like that little 103 yr old lady still "driving" the ol classic.

No, that is an option with the 1ds3. I'd love A 1ds3 myself but I personally wont bother saving up for one unless I strike it rich.

The only thing I would like to change if I could is the ISO sensitivity, which is the same on the 3(bar 200 better low light shooting ability according to dxomark). The only other alternative to the 1ds2 for sensitivity is the 1D X, which is roughly 10x the cost of a 1ds2 at the moment.

ohh thanks, not really a deal breaker, but i probably wouldnt use the eye-fi card anymore because transmitting a 16.7mp raw file would take ages.

CF is ALOT faster than SD in the 1ds2, I'm sure it is in the 2N as well. I noticed a huge difference even when using a cheaper Transcend CF card.

I currently use both. As I said before I use the eye-fi card to wirelessly transmit a jpeg to my iPad to preview the photos and save the RAW files to the CF card.

Anyways, got some thinking to do... :confused:
