Hi everyone -

I was recently in Chicago for a work event and had several days to explore the city. We did most of the touristy things - deep dish pizza, Willis and Hancock towers, Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum and the Adler Planetarium.

I thought about moving there when I was in college but now that I've been there, I'm pretty sure that city would eat this Northwoods boy alive if we ever moved there - but it was quite the experience for a few days. I've a ton of photos to process but we got in late last night and have only had a few minutes on the PC today - hopefully more to come.

Here's a shot at sunset from the top of the Hancock tower:

Beautiful shot.

- I discovered I scream the same way whether I'm about to be devoured by a great white shark or if a piece of seaweed touches my foot.

Very cool shot. I'll agreed with you on the great place to visit but wouldn't want to live there.

Thanks everyone!

Here's a shot from the Willis Tower (the re-named Sears Tower) looking back toward the Hancock building. It was from the middle of the day so the lighting wasn't nearly as good but I liked it anyway. The Willis Tower is the large black building in the back of the first image and the Hancock tower is the tall black building in the back of this one.
