Obviously, the macro lens will give you macro capabilities. The 135 will give you an extra stop that can come in real handy when trying to stop action in a dimmly lit high school gym during a basketball game where every stop is worth its weight in gold. If you don't desire or need macro capabilities or that extra stop of light, it would be pretty pointless to buy either IMO.
