Just curious though, how much distance is there between the subject and the front surface of the lens when capturing images like the honeybees? Very cool shots, by the way! hi Vixeh, for the first pic i was about 300mm from the subject, and its uncropped, and the 2nd pic I've cropped it about 50%.
