the gf and I will be heading to NYC from July 1-5 and I figured that it would be a good time to see some Independence Day fireworks, to our luck Macy has an annual firework show on the 4th and I've been researching more about it and some good spots to see and possibly capture it.
Can anyone recommend a good spot to see the fireworks, either in Manhattan side or NJ?
The catch is my gf hates lining up, so she doesn't want us to camp somewhere for 4-5 hours just for fireworks, so now I'm looking for venues or spots that you can reserve.
Are the boat/cruises ok for taking pictures or will there be movement?
Trying to reserve a platinum spot at Sky Room but they won't get back to me whether I could bring a tripod or not.
Looking for a good spot to rent/book in Hoboken or Weehawken
