Butterfly identification?

*EDIT* Identified as the Gulf Fritillary Butterfly. Thanks madman.


I could use some help identifying this butterfly--found on the east coast of Florida. I tried consulting several butterfly identification sites, and Audubon's Butterfly app... can't find anything close enough. Unfortunately I only have the one photo showing the closed wing.

I'm new to the whole butterfly scene, and have found it's much easier to identify birds!!

Your suggestion is a very, very close match. If it wasn't for the white vs orange belly, I'd be inclined to agree. Thanks for the suggestion.
