I've just upgraded to the lastest version of DPP and it now does HDR! I thought it required at least 3 images to do it, but it doesn't. This was just the one image I put through.
I like the effect, this one was a preset.

Cool shot. I've never seen a whippet with such powerful shoulders.

they're machines!! :D

thanks all. Actually I dont think it is a true HDR because I did it with just one photo. I've been playing around with DPP and just wondered what would happen if I just loaded one photo in. And it seems to work. Cant say I understand it.

I would think it would take the original image and get the data from making the image exposure values higher and lower than the original. I'm going to try it this weekend.

Wow, absolutely amazing. Can I ask what method you use for focusing? Even using servo, I really have a hard time catching my whippet mix this sharp.

I use AI Servo. I have a 7D, this was shot in Manual and I think I had a super fast shutter speed, 1/5000th if I recall.
haha at Rick. I've been having fun with the program and I'm just going back to photos I like and thinking, I wonder how this one will look.
