Birds of Costa Rica - 4 (Macaws)

I photographed these wild Scarlet and Great Green Macaws at a "finca" (farm) in central Cosa Rica. The farmer has been feeding these birds for years so they are acclimated to humans and some are nesting on the property. It was an incredible experience to have these birds fly by or just land relatively close to you.

In Flights taken with the Canon 40D + Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 + 2x teleconverter

All others with the Canon 7D + 500mm F4 + 1.4 teleconveter
