Help me identify this Speedotron 202VF

But wait, didn't he just say it was a Speedotron 202VF? What's there to identify? Well this is a normal 202VF head:

And this is what I'm curious about:

Notice how the bottom one does not have a modeling light switch? Anyone know why this is?

Older would be my guess....but it's only a guess. Lots of Speedotron experience here, just not with the 202 head.

Give Speedotron a call, their customer service has been very helpful for me in the past.

yes, just older. we bought this system when it first came out, and the first few didn't have modeling light switches. It's a nuisance to this day to keep track in a set of which ones you want to be able to turn off (for less bright light in model's face), especially since with the big packs you can't dim the modeling lights, just turn all of them on or off.

I received 5 when I bought them. Only one is the older version. They should still last through WW IX even if we don't.
