The wind knocked over my light stand and broke my umbrella, Canon 580 EX flash, and my Phottix Odin flash receiver when my assistant wasn't paying attention.
I think I can repair the flash receiver myself since the foot, the part that screws into the light stand, just popped off. From what I can tell, there are three screws that hold the foot in place. However, I'm not sure if there is anything else holding the foot to the receiver or stabilizing it.
There is an small indention in the middle of the foot as well as small indention in the receiver, and the two holes line up. It makes me think that maybe there was a post or something that went in between the two holes.
Does anyone know for sure?
