I have seen online someone adding a mini mono jack to a 285hv. The person didn't post exactly where they got it. My question is has anyone tried to do this with a stereo jack? Will it still work?

I have heard of folks using stereo jacks forhacks with the RPCube I'm a woman. I shoot with a Fuji X100T, Panasonic GX-7, Canon 5DmkII, and 50D. flickr stream

Yes, found the part at a local radio shack. They do have everything.. So far.
