Welcome, Danielle.....

The picture above......I'm guessing the soft focus and grain is something that was intentional. It's not really to my taste but I do like the hint at old Hollywood style, apart from the ink and piercings.

Hope you stick around.

Welcome to Potn.

I like what you were going for in this shot, the processing works well. My nit, only as constructive criticism is the focus seems to fall more on the arm and hand and not the face. This would make the subject of the photo her rings? The arm is also brighter then the rest of her which also draws the eye to it, making it the subject of the photo. I would had composed this a bit differently with more blank space to her left which would bring more of the focus to her face.

:)

The background doesn't seem to fit the foreground? He's nice and sharp, nice modern portrait, the direction of the light doesn't work for me and his expression isn't great but that's probably me, but the background looks overexposed, old, bleached, the vignette adds to the old style image, no fine detail anywhere in the land or sky, again in contrast to the portrait, the whole thiong, to me, looks like it does belong together. Oh, and dust spots, lots of dust spots...

I like the shot but not his expression. Looks like he is squinting due to the light.

I maybe wrong but it looks as if the horizon is not level and also there are quite a lot of sensor dust spots visible in the sky.
