Hello,

I am using 99designs to create my new logo.

The logo is for my lens hire business on the Gold Coast, Australia.

The logo's are in early stages. If you have any ideas at all please let me know. If you have comments on how to change or improve upon the designs please be as specific as possible. Click on the designs to see them full size.

Any votes and comments are greatly appreciated.

I have the final designs and a new poll. The designs are getting better and now I'm having a tough time choosing which ones should go through to the final.

Thank you to anyone who voted on the early designs.

Please please please vote for your favorite and comments are very helpful to me. Pick which one you think has the most potential because ANYTHING can be changed. Font and color are very easy changes to make so I'm more concerned with the logo part.

Thank you to anyone who takes a second to vote!

Voted.

I do like #43 but the colour scheme is very reminiscent of Cameras Direct (you're on the GC so I assume you know all about them!).

Perhaps if you changed the colours...?

P.S; As a fellow Goldie local I'm VERY keen to see/hear what you have for hire and rates etc!!

As the rankings have changed since you posted, would you please let me know which one you are referring to? Is there anything you would change in your favorite? Thank you very much for your feedback.

Thank you for your very useful feedback! I hadn't thought about Cameras Direct. I have chosen my finalists now and they have 3 days to refine the designs. I will keep your advice in mind when I am advising which colours to use. #43 is currently the leading design. I am trying to get him to design the lens closer to theblens in #254 (second poll). And possibly go with a blue and grey color scheme.

Also, I will have the website up and running in a few weeks if there are no set backs. There will be an online ordering system in place. I will also be offering free delivery within central Gold Coast. I can pm you once the website is launched if you would like me to.

I think that one might have to wait a few years :) I will be offering a good selection of Canon's L line at launch. I want to test the market before committing hundreds of thousands $$ on lenses. But if the demand is there, you can bet the supply will follow!

Not really fond of any of them. None of them stand out as great.

I agree. I am a designer on 99designs and have to say that all of these logos look far too cliche and ordinary. But then again, its your money, so if you like them that is all that matters.
