I just starting copyrighting my images (I know, I should have done it along time ago)

I just have 1 question.

Lets say I have 100's if not over 1,000 shots from an event, do I really need to upload all of them when I file electronically?? Or can I just upload say a single image with thumbnails of all the shots?? If I can how small can the thumbnails be??

If anyone knows about this, I would greatly appreciate your help. Thanks in advance

Obviously? Not sure I would have known. Just thought you might want to go to the source when its available. Sorry

I use thumbnails at about 500px, and zip them into one big file. There's a limit on that file, something around 150MB I think, but it's documented somewhere on the site. No limit on the count of thumbnails, and you can send in multiple zip files in one submission if you need to.

Thank You Sir.......Do you have an estimate of about how many thumbnail images more or less you fit in a ZIP file of 150MB at 500px each??

The only limit is the uplodad timeout. However, if you break up the upload of a single big application before it actually times itself out, you can continually upload a single application in multiple increments totally much more than the timeout.

Tracknut,

So I have a question about how you do this. I'm intrigued. I'm currently trying to catch up with my images as I've been pretty lax with it. Do you "Batch" a group out and them zip them individually into one file or are you saying you place thumbnails in one image and upload it zipped?

I've never thought of doing it this way and I suppose as long as the likeness of the image is transferred it could work? Anyway, maybe a moot point if i am misunderstanding you.

thanks!

Oops, no, I did not notice.

Then again, it depends on where he intends to market.
