5dm3 burned spot on sensor?

I noticed that I have some sort of spot on my camera. At first I thought it was dust and I tried cleaning it many times and it is still there. I am currently traveling and staying in a hotel so this is not the best pic but you will see it at the bottom left of the image there is a circular spot.

Is there anything that can be done about it? Would I have to send it to Canon for repair?

It looks like sensor dust to me :/ sorry I wish I could be of more help..

It's dust. You can clean it by manually exposing the sensor of the camera and gently blowing some air by using Giottos (Go to Amazon.com and search for Giottos AA1910). However, you need to be in a clean environment/room. To avoid that at some point from happening again, you need to make sure that your lenses elements are clean all the time.

That would be sensor dust. Try using a rocket blower and see if that helps. If not, send to Canon for a cleaning (probably under warranty they will) or get your own cleaning kit (copperhill wet cleaning kit works great).

It's probably a tiny drop of oil on the sensor. This is very common in new DSLRs, probably flung off the shutter. Being oil, it can't be blown off - it'll need a wet cleaning.

Bottom right corner....is that darker spot a shadow? Just wondering.

That is not a shadow, I have it on all the pics. I already used Giottos Rocket blower on it multiple times and sensor cleaning function in the camera multiple times and it is still there. It also looks a little too big to be a speck of dust.

Makes sense, I will look into it when I come back from my trip. Saturday is my last day of a 2 week photography tour which took me to SF, Yosemite, Death Valley, Zion, Bryce, Lake Powell, Horseshoe Bend, Antelope Canyon, Grand Canyon, Route 66, CA sand dunes, SD and tomorrow LA.
