Same here, I do like them, but the one thing is that facebook blue logo, distracts and takes my eye down to it when it should be staying on the main logo...

I hope you have info on the back, because I cannot see any contact info in your picture.

And: ugh, another camera on a business card. Also I doubt you have permission from Canon to use their Canon logo (on the camera) on your business cards. Note that any ad in a photo magazine that includes a camera will nearly always remove the logo/name from the camera if they use it in an ad.

Try some creativity and put something on the card that makes them want to remember you and not the camera (which says nothing about you as a photographer, just that you're a photographer). And I would expect something more creative since you also do design. :|

Why do people put the facebook, twitter and other social networking logos on their card?

Because Facebook and Twitter are great marketing tools and place for clients to get turned on to your work. I would not have any clients if it weren't for Facebook, I'm still learning how to use twitter, but I've found a lot of great other photographers via both twitter and facebook.

When I want to check out a new photographer, I check out their website, blog and see if they are on facebook...

She did exactly that, and succeeded. It's your must-never-waiver checklist mindset that is stifling creativity.

They are, but surely that info can go on your website. (Or the info on the card, without a huge fb logo there in colours that don't work with the card.)

cheers, juice (Canon shooter, Elinchrom lighter, but pretty much agnostic on brands.)

No that's not what I meant, I know the use of social networking. But why put it on a business card? Clutters it up, if anyone puts it on their website their sure to go there before anything.

I'm mixed on this one. Things are changing where that many people will now check FB first, and a dedicated website second.

I have to say it...I hope your photography is better than the picture you took showing your business card. It looks OOF.

I'm really not a fan of having a picture of a camera, but this works for me. Just lose the FB logo. That's the first thing I saw.

You do have a website, right? List that instead. ;)

You don't have a lot of info, so why not just use one side? What do you shoot?
